Standard Traffic Control Plans

In the earliest days of the automobile, navigating Australia lane was a chaotic experience, with pedestrians, bicycles, & streetcars all competing with motor vehicles for right of way. STOP  & GIVE WAY signs on the way have the same meaning as STOP and GIVE WAY signs that means are placed at intersections where extra care is needed since of confined visibility, or where vehicles on the other  lane have priority. Arrows indicate whether traffic turning right or left is allowed to go relying on which direction where arrow is pointed.
